The Black Friday sales season is coming! These deals are the best available right now, but the coming weeks may bring even better value for Prime members on a wider range of products.

Electric toothbrushes can be a nightmare to buy as retailers often inflate products’ RRPs to offer what look like huge discounts but are in reality only small price cuts.

But there are still great deals to be had. Amazon has just announced a late Prime Day deal on the Oral-B iO 8, available until midnight on 14 October (tonight).

With a usual retail price of £210-250, the iO series 8 is available for the rest of the day for £189.99. The iO is the first brush to have a full-colour OLED screen to display battery life, brushing mode and more. It cleans via micro-vibrations to give Oral-B’s best-ever brushing performance. In the box, you’ll get the handle, brush head, magnetic charger, travel pouch and spare brush head case.

We just reviewed the slightly never model, the iO9, if you’d like to find out more about the brush.

Amazon is also selling the Oral-B Genius 8000 for £69.99. It currently retails for around £100-£150, so if you buy now, you’ll save 30-50%. That’s a very good discount.

You can buy it in rose gold, silver or black. In the box, you’ll get the brush handle, three brush heads, a charger, a travel case and a smartphone mount.

Oral-B is one of the most reliable electric toothbrush brands and this is one of the brand’s best models. The Genius 8000 is an app-connected brush that offers feedback on your technique. It has five brushing modes (daily clean, gum care, sensitive, whitening and pro clean) and its smart ring doubles as an alert to let you know when you’re brushing too hard.

Its lithium-ion battery has a life of approximately two weeks before it needs charging. The app is free to download and use, and very straightforward as well.

We reviewed the Genius 8000 and rated it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
