Starting Good Friday (10 April), Virgin will offer free access to a whole bunch of popular Sky TV channels to its TV customers, including:

Sky Arts
Sky Comedy
Sky Crime
Sky One
Sky Two
Sky Witness
Sky Sports Mix
Sky Sports News

In addition to these, Virgin customers also get access to E!, Movies 2, Syfy.

If you’re an existing Virgin TV customer, you don’t need to do anything additional to opt in, and there won’t be a change in your contract.

If you’re not with Virgin already, it’s a good time to sign up. Pick up a current discount on its 12-month Big Bundle broadband and TV offer, which reduces the rate to £29.99 per month from £38 per month. The service offers high speed downloads of 108Mbps, along with free weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobile numbers. You also get all these channels too.

This isn’t the first time Virgin has made content free to its customers. Last week it made the following kids’ channels free until 21 April:

Cartoon Network
Boomerang
Cartoonito
Nickelodeon
Nick Jr
NickToons
Nick Jr Too

Then earlier this week, the provider made another 18 popular entertainment channels free until 2 May for customers, including Comedy Central, Discovery, MTV and Fox. You can see the full list below:

Comedy Central
DMAX
Discovery
FOX
Gold
Box Hits
Kerrang
Kiss
Magic
ID
Lifetime
MTV
TCM
TLC
Rishtey
Rishtey Cineplex
Sony SAB
Colors

There certainly isn’t a shortage of content during the lockdown. Head to Virgin now to see its TV and broadband offers if you’re not already a customer – and existing Virgin TV customers can, well, sit back, relax, and indulge in some shameless TV and chocolate bingeing this Easter long weekend.

Also see our list of lockdown freebies if you need other ways to stay occupied.
